User Menu: Your Access and User Profile

Update your personal details, notification settings (emails), password, and more.

The User Menu is where you can find your current access settings and update your name, email, interface options, avatar, notification settings (emails about your sites), and change your password.

In this article:

Find the User Menu

Select your avatar in the upper-right corner of DubBot. Your avatar is your initials until you choose an image. This is labeled as the User Menu button for users utilizing a screen reader.

The User Menu contains links to :

  • Your Account Access

  • Your Profile

  • DubBot's Help Center

  • Log Out​

Expanded User Menu - shows link to Account Access, Profile, Help Center, and Log Out.

Account Access Panel

The Account Access button shows your access level in DubBot and the content you can access.

Account Access Panel shows a users Role, Issues Filter, Page Sets and Sites permissions.

Profile Panel

The Profile Panel gives you access to edit following information:

  • Your Details

    • Your Full Name

    • Your Email

    • Interface Options

      • Underline All Links if you choose for increased link visibility in the app.

    • Your avatar within DubBot

  • Notification Settings - detailed information below

  • Change Password
    Complete the required fields, then select Save. Your password must be at least 8 characters long. This does not change any password configured throught a Single Sign-On setup.

  • Integrations
    A listing of any integrations configured for the site, such as with GitHub, GitLab, or Jira.

  • API Key
    Generate an API Key to associate with the current user.

Notification Settings

The Notification Settings button takes you to a panel where you can update the frequency and type of emails you receive from DubBot.

There are three types of Notifications: Crawl Finished Emails, Page Set Score Emails, and Task Emails.

Crawl Finished Emails

Notification options include:

  • Unsubscribe - Never email about finished site crawls

  • Immediate - Email when a site crawl has finished. This will send an email after every site that you test is crawled.

  • Daily Digest - Email daily about all finished sites crawled. This will give you a daily recap of what was tested in the previous day.

  • Weekly Digest - Email weekly about all finished sites crawled. This will give you a daily recap of what was tested in the previous week.

  • Monthly Digest - Email on the first of each month about all finished sites crawled in the past month.

When you select to subscribe, you will be given the option to receive an email about all the sites you have permission to or to Filter the notification to only report for specific sites.

Page Set Score Emails

You can receive weekly emails with scores for each Page Set.

Notification options include:

  • Unsubscribe - Never email about Page Set scores

  • Weekly Digest - Email weekly about Page Sets selected

Task Emails

You can view emails about tasks you created and/or are assigned to, as well as those that mention you.

Notification options include:

  • Email when a task you participate in is updated.

  • Email when another user @mentions you.
