Find the Results of a Policy

Using the Quick Wins Panel or the Web Governance Panel to find policy results.

Updated over a week ago

After a Policy has been added to your site, whether it be from the Policy Library or a Custom Policy, there are a couple of options to view the results:

Use the Quick Wins Panel to find Policy Results

When a policy's results are ready for your review, this is how to find those results using the Quick Wins panel:

  • Select the Pages with Issues dropdown (Select a filter for pages button for screen readers) and select Pages with Web Governance Issues. The vast majority of policies are found in the Web Governance Issue category. (The vast majority of policies are found in the Web Governance Issue category. Occasionally, site administrators have a policy report under a different issue type. If they do, they should let you know that is the case.)

Use the Web Governance Panel

  • On the Dashboard of your site, select the number of issues link on the Web Governance Issues panel. (The vast majority of policies are found in the Web Governance Issue category. Occasionally, site administrators have a policy report under a different issue type. If they do, they should let you know that is the case.)

  • On the Web Governance Issues Panel, in the All Categories dropdown, select Policy. You will then see a list of Web Governance Issues flagged by Policies on the site. Find the Policy Name you are looking for in the Description column and then select the number of Affected Pages to see a list of pages in the site identified with that policy.

In the Web Governance Issues panel, using the Category button, select Policy to view items found via Policies in the site.

  • If you don't see your policy in the list after following the steps above, you can change Page issues found to Page issues tested to see all Policies that were checked against the site. If the policy was run, but had no results, it will appear in this list with a 0 listed in the Affected Pages column.
