Flesch-Kincade readability scores show grade level.

Updated this week

We have updated our Flesch-Kincade (FK) scoring to display one of the following grade levels:

  • Any Grade (default)

  • 5th grade or below

  • 6th grade

  • 7th grade

  • 8th-9th grade

  • 10-12th grade

  • College

  • College Graduate

This information can be found in the Quick Wins panel of a Site or Page Set Dashboard. Select the following :

  1. For Pages with Issues, select Pages with Readability Scores

  2. For Word Count, select either the Flesch Reading Ease Score or Flesch-Kincade Grade Level

  3. For Any Grade, select the grade level you want to see from the dropdown box.

If you hover over a score, you will also see the numerical score calculated for the page :

Hovering over a score showing as 7th grade displays the numerical score of 7.6

At the individual page level, you will see the various scores for the page in the Readability Panel

Individual Page View displays the various Readability Scores for the page.
