Sorting Accessibility Issues

Ways to filter or sort accessibility issues found in your site.

To review the accessibility issues on a Site or Page Set, there are a couple of options:

Filter By Level

The Accessibility Issues Panel, accessible by selecting X issues on your Site or Page Set Dashboard, allows you to filter the reported issues by the WCAG Level (A, AA, or AAA) or Section 508 associated with them.

  1. Select the X issues link in the Accessibility Panel on your Site or Page Set Dashboard

  2. Select the Filter By Level button

  3. In the Filter by Accessibility Issue Level drawer that opens, select the button beside issue-level you want to review. Only the type of issues found on your site will appear in the drawer.

Filter by Specific Accessibility Issue

The Accessibility Detail Page Panel can be accessed by selecting X pages in the Accessibility Panel on the Site Dashboard.

  1. Select the X pages link in the Accessibility Panel on your Site or Page Set Dashboard

  2. Select the Any Accessibility Issue button

  3. In the Filter by Accessibility Issue drawer that opens, select the issue type you want to review. Only the issues found on your site will appear in the drawer.

Review all Page issues tested

You can discover all of the Accessibility issues tested on your Site by following the steps outlined below. In this listing, you will even see those issues tested that returned zero issues.

  1. Select the x issues link in the Accessibility Panel on your Site or Page Set Dashboard

  2. Select the Page issues found button ( for alt text -- dropdown is called Select a filter for pages button) and select Page issues tested

Issue Impacts

When reviewing issues at a page level, you will be given a color-coded indication of the impact of the issue (critical, serious, moderate, minor) to help you gauge the importance of fixing the reported issue.
