"In Content" and "In Template" tags appear in Detail Page Views if a page has a <main> or role="main" area identified.
In Content vs. In Template Tags
In Content tags appear if the issue has <main> or an element with role="main" as one of its ancestors (based on these ARIA guidelines). These tags can help website editors with limited permissions identify those items they can fix on the site.
In Template tags apply to anything found outside the <main> or role="main" section. These tags can help identify the items that will deliver the best return for the time spent on remediation.
Who can see these tags?
All DubBot users can see the tags.
Where are they applied?
The categories of Accessibility, Best Practices, Broken Links, Spell Checks and Policies all check for where the issue is located in the HTML.
Flagging occurs after all checks run during page processing.
There will be more to come with this feature - keep your eyes peeled!
