References

References in DubBot refer to links to or from an inventoried item: a webpage, a PDF, or an image. These links can point to or from other pages, images, scripts, or stylesheets.

Reference information is now added throughout DubBot for pages, images, and PDF files.

References are integrated into the Detail Page View panel. Locate the browser window icon in the left navigation of a Detailed Page View. When selected, the References Panel will appear, showing a list of items linking to and from the page.

Selecting any of the items listed under Linked from this page leads you to the Linked from this Page panel.

This panel lists all items linked from the current page. The first dropdown menu gives the options to display by reference type:

The second dropdown lets you display items with Any Status or Broken Only to help you zero in on broken items.

Reference information is also included in both the PDF Inventory Panel and the PDF Detail View Panel.

The PDF Inventory Panel has a column titled Link Sources that shows the number of pages on which that PDF is linked.

The PDF Detail Panel includes a References icon that displays a list of file(s) linking to the PDF in the current site.

The Image Inventory Panel displays the number of pages linking to an image in the Link Sources column.

The Image Detail View displays the Reference icon in the left-hand menu. When selected, it shows which page contains the image link.
